Vermont Maple Mint Julep


Ingredients

  • - 8 fresh mint leaves
  • - 1/2 oz SND Bourbon Barrel Aged Maple Syrup
  • - 2 oz Smugglers' Notch Distillery Straight Bourbon
  • - crushed ice
  • - mint sprig for garnish

Instructions

  1. Place the mint leaves and maple syrup in your serving glass and muddle the mint, releasing the flavors of the mint into the syrup.
  2. Add the bourbon and pack glass with crushed ice.
  3. Stir quickly until mixed, then top glass with more crushed ice.
  4. Garnish with mint sprig and serve immediately.

Maple Bourbon Smash


Ingredients

  • 2 oz. Smugglers' Notch Distillery Maple Bourbon Whiskey
  • 3/4 oz SND Bourbon Barrel Aged Maple Syrup
  • 4 fresh mint leaves (plus one mint sprig for garnish)
  • 3 lemon wedges

Instructions

  1. Muddle the lemon wedges in a shaker.
  2. Add bourbon, maple syrup, mint leaves and ice, and shake until well-chilled.
  3. Double-strain into a rocks glass over ice.
  4. Garnish with mint sprig.

Smugglers’ Notch Maple Bourbon Old-Fashioned


Ingredients

  • 2 oz. Smugglers' Notch Maple Bourbon
  • 1 dash Angostura Bitters
  • 1 tsp sugar (super fine)
  • 1 orange twist for garnish

Instructions

  1. Combine all ingredients in a mixing glass
  2. Add ice and stir about 45 times
  3. Strain into a double old-fashioned glass with one large ice cube
  4. Garnish with a wide orange twist
  5. Make sure to squeeze the twist over the the cocktail with the skin facing down, coating the top of the cocktail with the aromatic oils, then rub the skin on the rim of the glass. Drop the twist into the cocktail and serve.

Vermont Buck


Ingredients

  • 2 oz Smugglers' Notch Distillery Bourbon
  • 3/4 oz lemon juice
  • 1/2 oz SND Bourbon Barrel Aged Maple Syrup
  • 5 oz Ginger Beer
  • Lemon wheel (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Stir first three ingredients together in a glass with ice. Top with ginger beer. Garnish with lemon wheel.
