I used to live up near the notch, and a got a case of it when I moved. It’s a relief that these bottles are still available to purchase online, because we use them for everything and I give them as gifts to all my family.

The bourbon barrel aged Syrup is some of the best maple syrup out there. We use it for cooking, on waffles, or a small drizzle on vanilla ice cream. It goes surprisingly quickly in our household.

My daughter and I found the Smugglers Notch by accident. We were trying to go to the Cabot Cheese store which turned out to be closed. While browsing the store the woman working in the store offered us a sample of the Bourbon barrel maple syrup. It has ruined me for maple syrup. Don’t think I can use regular store maple syrup. Will definitely be ordering more!

I've grown up in NJ, Where the maple syrup is just maple syrup. Even with that, Maple became my favorite flavor. I thought normal maple syrup was fancy and delicious, but this is just next level. This maple syrup is something that I will return to vermont for on its own! Delicious and mind blowing!
